Before being able to answer the question, has anyone cured acid reflux? We need to ask another. Is acid reflux/GERD a disease that you can cure? As a matter of fact it is most certainly not a disease, it is a disorder. A disorder, which presents the painful symptoms of indigestion and heartburn and if left untreated, it can be the cause of further problems and may even lead cancer of the esophagus. Research has shown that controlling acid reflux can prevent this happening. Consequently anything that can reduce acid naturally and the resulting reflux can be considered a cure.
There are a lot of sites which state that they have Acid Reflux Breakthroughs or Treatments which work, the majority of these are useless, but these are worth a look:
- Acid Reflux and Diet
- Stop Acid Reflux Now
An internet search by typing in wwwnatural cure for acid reflux and I found a large number of natural cures for GERD, some of them, I thought to be rather strange, like the following: - First eat an apple or drink a large glass or water, place your forearms on top of your head. This is to raise the diaphragm. Jump slowly, one jump each second, then either cough or exhale sharply at the same time your feet touch the ground. Apparently the writer swears by this method as an anti spasmodic remedy to keep reflux in the stomach and not refluxing into the esophagus. If that seems a bit too much for you, other cures for gastric reflux include watching your diet to see which foods cause the problem and eliminating them, drinking plenty of water, taking an enzyme supplement, or raising the head of your bed with some blocks or books.
Artemisia Asiatica (Wormwood) is one of the natural cures for gerd/acid reflux. Some research, which compared Artemisia Asiatica against the traditional Zantac treatment, found that not only did this herb reduce and cure acid reflux, it also protected against inflammation and ulceration of the esophagus.
Those who received the Zantac developed ulcers.A rather interesting fact I stumbled upon, though not really related to remedies and natural cures for gastric reflux/GERD, is that due to global warming and elevated carbon dioxide levels, it appears that the growth of Artemisia Asiatica has been spurred on by at least forty percent.
Heartburn natural remedies include acidophilus, what we most commonly cause probiotics. What you have to understand here is that stomach acid is more than a digestive tool. It has a role to play in protecting the stomach from a bacterium called clostridium difficile, which can trigger diarrhea and inflammation that could result in death.
When you suppress gastric acid with typical heartburn medications, bacterium flourish.Supplementing acidophilus promotes the growth of friendly bacteria to counteract this problem and act as a natural cure for acid reflux. Via way of prevention, it may also be considered as one of the natural cures for stomach cancer.

GERD or acid reflux is a common condition and can be especially painful. It is possibly one the most frequent causes or heartburn and indigestion. As the name suggests, it is the reflux of stomach acids into the esophagus and when this happens over a continuous period, it can inflame and damage its sensitive lining.
There are a lot of sites which state that they have Acid Reflux Breakthroughs or Treatments which work, the majority of these are useless, but these are worth a look:

The first thing to consider before looking for natural cures for gerd is your diet. Keeping a food diary of what you eat and when acid reflux occurs is useful to pinpoint offending foods. It has always been thought drinking tea, coffee or alcohol could cause the condition, but new research in Sweden, indicates this may not be the case and that when you eat table salt, you are likely to develop acid reflux/GERD, by the time you are seventy. Smoking is also associated with this condition, as are yeast infections.
If you suffer from this complaint you may find that drugs are limited in the relief they can give and may prefer to look for a product that can reduce acid naturally and be soothing against acid reflux pain. Type in wwwnatural cure for acid reflux and you are likely to come across a site or article relating to acid reflux, yogurt or acidophilus.
Did you know that there is evidence that yogurts have been produced as a source of food for over four and a half thousand years? I wonder if they knew back then that you could cure acid naturally with yogurt. I guess I will never know the answer to that or whether they had any need to reduce acid naturally. Perhaps their natural diets prevented acid reflux or GERD from being a problem. It is thought however that these early yogurts would have been fermented with wild bacteria, which was found on goatskin bags carried by the nomadic people otherwise known as the Bulgars.
Natural yogurt is beneficial for acid reflux providing you eat the type which contains the active culture or acidophilus. Heartburn natural remedies like acidophilus are effectual because it is the everyday name for probiotics. Probiotics act as cures for gastric reflux because they promote the multiplication of beneficial bacteria and prevent yeast infections, and as mentioned above, yeast infections are one of the causes.
As well as yogurt, probiotics like acidophilus can also be obtained in many naturally fermented foods like tempeh and miso. You can also buy Heartburn natural remedies like acidophilus as a supplement. This can be in a liquid, powder or a tablet form. Most people who experience gastric reflux are usually deficient in digestive enzymes and will also benefit from a supplement of these as well.

Acid Reflux (GERD) is a state where gastric acids and undigested food in the stomach refluxes up into the esophagus. If you take antacids for heartburn or acid reflux you will only establish more of an acid imbalance in your body. By choosing a natural remedy you restore the balance and may gain extra health benefits.
There are a lot of sites which state that they have Acid Reflux Breakthroughs or Treatments which work, the majority of these are useless, but these are worth a look:

If you are looking for natural remedies for gastric reflux, then a good place to start is with an Internet search. Try something like wwwnatural cure for acid reflux and you will be surprised just how much is available. I will share some of my findings with you.
It is reported that Garlic is good to cure acid reflux naturally. I crush a garlic clove into some apple cider vinegar and store this in my fridge. It is always on hand and a spoonful usually gives instant relief, plus it is soothing against acid reflux pain. It has added health benefits, as garlic kills pathogenic organisms not affected by stomach acid, like helicobacter pylori, a common cause of gastric problems.
Natural yogurt for acid reflux is beneficial because yogurt contains acidophilus. This is a common name for a group of probiotics. Probiotics are beneficial bacteria which aid digestion and prevent an over growth of yeast. It is therefore easy to see why acid reflux is helped by yogurt and acidophilus when you consider that one of the causes of this complaint is a yeast infection in the digestive tract
Heartburn natural remedies can include an acidophilus supplement in either a liquid or powder. I usually take a spoonful of powder; this gives instant relief and helps to reduce acid naturally. You might prefer to take the liquid, but personally I find the taste unpleasant. Combining this with a supplement of digestive enzymes will also be useful as many suffering from gastric reflux are deficient in these enzymes.
Artemisia Asiatica is one of the natural cures for gerd and acid reflux. It has traditionally been used as an Asian remedy for inflammatory disorders and is more commonly known as Wormwood. It works by supporting a healthy microbial balance in the same way that garlic does.
Something I have to admit not knowing about before is Vitamin U. Well it is not actually a vitamin but a compound, methyl-methionine-sulfonium chloride, from the cabbage species. It is not only considered one of the natural cures for gerd and gastritis but is also used in the treatment of colitis and peptic ulcers. It is useful in gerd, heartburn and indigestion because it effects the secretion of acids and the function of enzymes in the intestinal tract.

Recent Research in Queensland Australia has found strong evidence that ADHD in young males is due to the way the brain develops.
Dr Ross Cunnington - a neuroscientist stated that there seemed to be something in the way the brain developed in young males which allowed the combined form of Attention Deficit Disorder (ADHD-CT) to develop.
Attention Deficit Disorder is a condition which is found in approximately 4% of young children
The study was carried out on a group of boys between 8 - 12 years old. The scientists led by Dr Cunnington at University of Queensland used fMRI to look at the how the brain worked for the boys as they carried out certain mental work.
The imaging was primarily of the parietal lobe of the brain which is the most active area of the brain when something happens to distract someone from the mental work which they are doing.
The pre-frontal and parietal lobes of the brain are vital to maintain the focus necessary to complete mental tasks.
This work could strengthen the idea that ADHD is caused by a condition found naturally in certain individuals, and consequently not a product of poor parents.
Often ADHD becomes less of a problem as a person gets older and there are many natural therapeutic treatments which reduce the severity of the condition.
